Closing of One Chapter, Start of Another

I've been playing Eve about six and a half years and as time goes on I view my history in this game in chapters. There was the IPORC/Strife Mercenaries chapter that defined my first two years, the m3 Corp era that was my middle chapter, and the most recent chapter as part of Kadavr Black Guard and Kadavr Crimson Guard.

The goal for the Kadavr Crimson Guard was to be a Faction Warfare wing of the Kadavr Corps headed up by the Black Guard and the wormhole corp, Kadavr Conglomerate. But alas, with Nashh Kadavr leaving the game and Anabaric folding the Black Guard into The Bastards and the wormhole corp going its own way entirely, it seems I am left to my own devices with a handful of very inactive pilots.

I don't hold any ill will, its just the nature of Eve. Things change.

I could go with the Black Guard and be a Bastard but faction warfare is good to me and good for my casual playstyle so I want to stay in the militia. I could try and turn the Crimson Guard into a full fledged corp with recruiting and forums and such but I don't have the time nor the inclination to do so in the right manner; I'd rather fight in space.

Thus, I've decided its time to move on for the third time in my Eve career. Kadavr Crimson Guard is not closing but will remain open for the pilots in there until they find new homes. My alt is holding CEO so I can find a new home.

A new home such as Aideron Robotics.

Its been a long time since I've had active corpmates to fly with and discuss ships and Eve so I'm really looking forward to getting back into that groove.

The only downside to this move is that I'm closer to having Seismic Stan as a corpmate *shudder*.

  1. Congrats m8! Nothing like being somewhere that is alive and thriving to get the juices flowing again.

    1. Yep. I've forsaken the State a long time ago. See my fiction for the full account of that happening! *shamelessplug*

  3. Let the hazing begin! I have to say, it'll be nice to have someone of comparable ingame age and skillpoints in the corp again.
