Where Have All The Podcasts Gone?

Warp Drive Active? Feb 25th.

The Drone Bay? Jan 30th.

Micro Warp Cast? Nov 1st, 2008.

Fly Reckless at least has come back with a new host but I haven't given it a try yet.

The recent lack of dedicated Eve podcasts has made me very annoyed. While I enjoy listening to other podcasts about MMOs in general, I asked for and got the IPod for Christmas explicitly to listen to the 'casts listed above. I want them back dammit. Who do I write to so I can complain?

A friend and I just started playing EVE and noted the same thing. I'd been listening to some old episodes of the podcasts you mentioned, but it's not quite the same as hearing the current news and views. :)

Definitely nice to see Fly Reckless back, but as a noob learning about the game, I want more!

  2. The scariest thought of all is that this makes bozokast (no I'm not providing a highly offensive nsfw link) currently the most regular EVE podcast. (look it up yourself - you were warned - don't come complaining to me)

I especially miss WDA, it was always very entertaining because it was a bit silly :).

  5. Hopefully some will start 'casting again soon, as I too have been missing the 'casts.

As Andrew says, it's probably time for someone to start a new podcast....

Drone Bay and WDA kept me sane on many a long wait for lift home from work.

  6. I listen to a lot of podcasts and a lot of the podcasters have at least a little bit of an Eve background. I'll have to check out Fly Reckless and the new host.

Does Eve Radio have any good talk shows, or is it just music?

  7. I don't know about Eve Radio... I assumed it was just music but I guess it wouldn't hurt to check it out.

  8. Sorry :(

Honestly, I've been out of the MMO space in general for the last month or so. BDCI is probably ready to kick me for inactivity. I need to find the spark that is going to rekindle EVE for me...

  9. No need to apologize Crovan, my post was partly tongue in cheek. If you need a break or to move on to other things, we'll live. :)
