Warhammer 40K MMO Set for 2012

News from Massively.com:
THQ just unveiled some release dates for their major game titles over the next few years and if you were getting excited for the Warhammer 40k MMO, you might feel a bit deflated after reading this. The above slide shows that WH40K is slated for a 2012 expected release date, which of course is subject to change.
At least its not cancelled.

  1. Crappy news :(

I'd jump ship to a 40k mmo if it was even remotely well done. Love that universe.

you know tempus fugit. i have been waiting for a lvl based fps with mmo qualities. i have to say that playing warcraft mod counterstrike servers is fun but i would love to have the rpg quality too.

i hope it won't be a two sided game like warcraft/hammer mmo's. 3 sides (like in autoassault) create alot more of a dynamic game.

orcs/eldar/marines/imps/chaos/tau all bashing it up! necrons and tyranids by their nature though should be kept npc's and certain sides should hold neutrality to other factions. eldar being totally about whatever is convenient for them at the time. tau for the greater good. imps and marines are even at ods with each other every once in a while. allowing for certain player groups to combine for some missions. that would help with looking for groups
