I got to face off against the Death Bears in my first game.
My Black Storm Legionnaires take up position to secure from objectives from the foul false emperor Death Bears!
The Bears came to crash the party.
On the west flank a bear makes an early move to be ready to secure a point in turn 2.
On the east flank, the Shrive Talon and Balefire Acolyte move to do the same but the Bears burst through the door, bolt pistols blazing.
Back on the west, the Chosen advances with super hot plasma pistol spewing super hot plasma.
The Annointed wasted no time and summoned the beast right away.
Two Bears move up to grab the middle in turn 2.
The gunner uses his super hot plasma to hunt a Bear that killed the Shrive Talon.
The heavy gunner uses his reaper chain cannon to skin a Bear.
The Chosen charged and used his daemonic blade to slice a Bear in two.
The Bear commander charged and leaped to reach his fist over the wall and crushed the skull of the Acolyte.
In the centre the annointed rips a Bear up but the other centre bear charged and killed the heavy gunner.
Despite being wounded from his fight with the heavy gunner, the Bear charged up the ladder and killed the gunner.
A bloody battle but the Death Bear's early success in securing more objectives pays off.
My Next game was my Blooded versus some Space Marine Scouts on a secure the long way board.
The scout sniper takes the high ground early and started to take aim at the enemy gunner and sniper.
The Blooded Ogryn and Grenadier move up in cover.
A scout moved up on the west point and early in turn two the Orgyn charge, his Avalanche of Muscle and power maul taking down the imperial stooge. The Agitator moved up behind him to secure the point, while the Flenser charged and fought another scout, slicing him with a blade.
The Enforcer and Butcher await their opening.
The scout sniper takes aim at the back of the Ogryn's head.
The Blooded Trench Sweeper survives a barrage from the heavy bolter!
It looked like scouts would retake the west point when BOOOOM! The grenadier whipped the diabolik bomb satchel and killed two of the enemy.
In the centre structure the Chieftan and melta gunner take out scouts to secure the building.
The sniper and heavy bolder desperately try to take out targets fast enough, but there is just too many Blooded!
The almost dead Enforcer and terrified grenadier hunker in cover as they wait out the clock to win the game.
Victory for Quintara!!
