Happy Holidays!

I'm off work tomorrow and next week and coming back Tuesday Jan 3rd. As such, blog will go dark until the new year. Some tidbits:

The Redesign the Eagle Contest runs through the month of January. I'll review the current entries in the first week of the new year.

Fiction friday will continue regularly on a weekly basis again starting in January. Apologies for the long interlude.

* * * * *

Bring Me The head of Kirith Kodachi III will be coming in the early spring. I'm going to be borrowing a lot of ideas from the Flight of a Thousand Rifters event Marlona Sky did to help encourage a larger diversity.

Was out roaming last night and lost a Rifter to a Cormorant destroyer that was camping the inside of a minor factional warfare complex. Blasters, web, scram = one dead frig. Didn't have a destroyer on hand to challenge it. Later on found a Kestrel afk at a safe spot and brought in the alt fresh out of the wormhole to probe it down and kill and pod it. Only a cyno frig but better than nothing.

Possible stats for revised Assault Frigs being rumoured on Failheap Challenge. My initial impression is "meh". I mean, the ships look like they are getting buffed with extra slots and MWD bonus but I would have preferred an afterburner bonus instead. We'll see how things pan out.
