Back on September 9th my first ever and still my main character Kirith Kodachi turned 7 Eve years old. I forgot to celebrate as I always think my character was created on Sept 26th for some reason.
So I've been playing for seven years, longer than most and shorter than some. I've never had a voluntary break and never had an involuntary break longer than a couple weeks. Its safe to safe I love this game.
I've done or dabbled in low sec PvP, null sec PvP, high sec mercenary, mining, ninja salvaging, inventing, exploration, wormhole PvE, null sec PvE, low sec PvE, high sec missions, COSMOS missions, faction warfare, trading (both moving goods and in station assets), capital construction, politics, led a corporation, duels, podcasts, blogging (obviously), news site writing and editing, guide writing, fiction... I'm not saying I've done it all, but I've seen a lot of it.
And yet the game still has vast depth I have not explored. I love this game.
Although I've been primarily doing low sec and Faction Warfare for the past two years, and enjoying it immensely, I haven't put returning to wormholes or null sec out of the question. Both have attractive qualities about them that you don't get in low sec, but then low sec has some great qualities you don't find anywhere else either.
I expect the next couple years will see me continue to terrorize the space lanes of Gallente and Caldari FW space, while I build up my capital construction business to fund my exploding space ship habit.
Here's to the the next seven years.
