Painting is Back On

Last week with all the shipping of the ebay auctions, I didn't get any painting done besides the base coats of red gore on the four guardians. And getting that done had to wait until late last night. Sigh. Fortunately, my first Ebay run is complete except one package awaiting payment and I've got my workdesk back. Yay me.

While waiting for the paint to dry, the brand new falcon box was calling my name and I broke down and assembled it into its major components. What can I say, I'm weak and I love the smell of glue.

Here is a picture of my old Falcon, and my new King Falcon. The painted one has just the basics: scatterlaser, twin shircats. The King Falcon has the starcannon and shuriken cannon, as well as a modeled spirit stone and crystal targeter. The idea is that the normal Falcon is for generic troop carrying duty while the King Falcon is a full blown Main Battle Tank.

Here we have the new wave serpent and the old custom made wave serpent, as well as the old Fire Prisim turret. I'm not sure what to do with the wave serpent once the new one is painted up. Consign it to the museum of keep using it? We'll see. The Fire Prisim turret is destined to either be repainted or simply touched up. I'll try touching up first and see if it works out, otherwise, to the dip!
